Wow. I am so tempted to get my friend to translate for me... But I am worried about her delicate ears. But even without a word for word translation I can tell it is indeed everything you said it would be and more!

well i highly doubt its content is of ear blushing matter... i have no idea what it said and i imagine your friend would have no chance of interpreting it as i cannot speak German to save myself, beyond "Nein", Heil Hitler" and "Das iz Goot"!
